Can you have your Chat in a closed (to posts) forum. We are experimenting with 'Chat Room' Forum with the chat window displayed above the threads, so when you go to the chat room the first thing there is the chat window. Chats are not=to posts, so the Forum remains closed, except for the original "behave yourself" post that I created.

Don't know if you can use this as an option or not...
