warning & fatal error problems

hello

I am facing a weird problem....I was getting the following msg...So I upgraded from 3.8.3 to 3.8.4 ........ and still I'm getting the error msgs.....but now it's being shown like this

When I want to write a new subject in any section of ma forum it gives:

Quote:

Warning: require_once([path]/includes/ame_bbcode.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/newthread.php(310) : eval()'d code on line 1

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/content/x/x/x/Xxx/html/forum/includes/ame_bbcode.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/content/x/x/x/Xxx/html/forum/newthread.php(310) : eval()'d code on line 1
and also getting this problem when trying to read a PM

Quote:

Warning: require_once([path]/includes/ame_bbcode.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/includes/functions_editor.php(521) : eval()'d code on line 3

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/content/x/x/x/xxx/html/forum/includes/ame_bbcode.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/content/x/x/x/xxx/html/forum/includes/functions_editor.php(521) : eval()'d code on line 3
Additional Info for helping me:

-My database version is 4

-I have other scripts with php 5

-I have ioncube installed in a seperate folder called ioncube on the FTP root

-I have php.ini and php5.ini (attached both below)

-Zend optimizer is also installed

- other scripts also are giving similar error msgs

Please let me know what shall I do...My hosting company says it's a php configuration and has nothing to do with

I think as I've seen in google....that the php.ini is the problem but i know nuthin'

thanks for ur major help in advance

Disable the AME mod by Digital Jedi and then check so we know where to go next.

Post back.

Try upgrading it first then see what happens :D

and the new one... hmm see where it says newss?

Any News type of Mod?

AdminCP --> Diagnostics

Wait for screen to load then see where it says "Suspect File Versions" ?

Simply hit Submit, now copy & paste the results in this thread using [CODE] tags so non members or non licensed guests can't see your info then we'll review ;).

Also you can download the php.ini file from your server via FTP or File Manager then open in a text editor like Notepad++.

Remember the stated requirements too...

PHP and MySQL Requirements

Quote:

Please note that vBulletin 3.8.x requires at least PHP 4.3.3 and MySQL 4.0.16 or later.

However, we recommend that vBulletin 3.8.x is run on PHP 5.2.9 with APC (or a similar opcode cache) and MySQL 5.1.32 for best performance and stability.
So is your host just saying that or do they have updated PHP?

All I know is sometimes old deprecated code will cause you problems, I just spent 9 + 2 so a total of 11 hours hunting down old code in templates that Firefox does not like at all anymore since 3.5 but only had problems when we upgraded to 3.8.3:p so it can be a number of things at any given time depending on one or many factors.

actually it is not a vbulletin mod , it's a seperate script

just asked u from the door of knowledge...it's ok
------------------

another qestion regarding my Vbulletin admincp

at home when i try modifying on a template and hit save, the page keeps on loading and loading

till the page stops and tells me connection timed out or page disappeared

when I modify from my workplace...it works fine....why is that?

knowing that :

1- I tried using different browsers...chrome..IE8..mozilla = all same error

2- my connection at home is good and fast enough and all opened ports

Do you both have the same ISP AND what browser related security apps do you have installed @ home but not @ work?
