Post as alternate user mod?
 

There is a real cool mod for the SMF boards which enables you to simply check a box and enter the username id so you can post as an alternate user.

I like this because at my boards I post under a different username for all the "official" site news and post as my regular username for discussion.

Anyone know if something like this is available for vbulletin? Then I wouldn't have to keep switching back and forth ;)

The Quick Account Switch hack is excellent. A drop-down appears when you click your name on the navbar and you click whichever alternate account you prefer and you are instantly taken to the front page as that person. Naturally, you have to do the reverse to get back to your admin persona should you need to do some adminning, but it's very fast...
