Vb4?

I've heard rumors about this being released. If I buy VB now and it comes out within 12 months, I won't have to pay for VB4 will I?

The best place to get this question answered is over on vb.com since that is where you would purchase your software. You may be interested in this announcement posted yesterday over there - Some answers to important licensing questions

So off of what that post is saying, if I keep paying that $60 a year or how ever mouch it is I'll be good?

ExTincTi0N 08-18-2009 04:45 PM

Yes, but when 4 comes out you wont have to pay every year.

Well, hopefully it comes it within the year that I buy it. Lol, Thanks. That's all I was wondering. When people talk in a professional matter sometimes confuses me so I thought I'd ask here and just have someone give me a simpler answer lol. Thanks both of you :D

I assume he believes vB4 will be a one time charge.

Marco van Herwaarden 08-19-2009 10:55 AM

If he only believes something he should not post it as a fact. Especially not in a Pre-Sales forum where someone might depend his purchase on the answers given.
