Login by username or email product edition
 

This mod allow user to login on board by email or username.

The logic will check by email only if login by username fail.

Important:

Before to install, check if you have any plugin that use follow hooks:

• login_verify_failure_password
• login_verify_failure_password
• login_verify_success
• login_verify_failure_username

Because my cloned (from username vb check) code you can't use mentioned hooks on login by email check logic. Better alternative is this mod with hard code modification.

This mod is temporary, until upcoming version 4 of vBulletin is released. In vb 4 this option will be default.
