Making the latest image from a forum appear in my side bar
 
I wondering if there is anyway to make an the latest image that is posted from a certain forum appear in a table within my sidebar?

I know it is more than likely possible, but I don't know the extent of the work required.

Would this be a simple piece of code or would it require major template edits?

I have no idea how to go about this if anybody could point me in the right direction I would be very gratefull.
