Cannot edit style or collapse in admin
 

Very strange problem I've got and I'm stuck, added the post over at vB but I know they are some very clued up people here. :)

This is basically a new install that I've added a style to (albiet different version and works fine on another server test), only changed forum permissions and how people can register. I also can't select styles from the homepage.

No I cannot collapse/expand option in the admin tree (have to force expand all). Cannot select any of the templates in the styles to edit, cannot delete them either.

I can access all the expanded and change settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

Was your new install working prior to you adding a style to it? If you uninstall the style, does it work again?

I recall the admin dropdowns were not, but this wasn't an issue because I was not touching the templates.

But as I've backed up and restored the database and folders to another server and tested ok, feels like this is pointing towards a server related issue.

It may be a server issue. I really don't know. You may want to talk to your host about the problem and see if they can figure it out.

Certainly could be but the hosting company has said it could be anything and I've to take it up with vB, I'm in the process of installing another instance to a different folder from scratch.

If it does not work out of the box then I'm sure there will be a fair few questions such as IIS permisisons, etc.
