Offloading Images
 

Hello all.

I've spent my morning optimizing my vBulletin installation and an idea came to my head, so I'd like to run it by the community here and see if: A. It's a practical idea. B. How do I do it? Okay, allow me to get straight to the point! :)

I'd like to offload as many images from my server as possible. For example, let's say I'd like to upload them to a different server or even to a file hosting website, then visitors would download the images from there rather than the same server as my vBulletin installation - is this possible? If so, how? Most importantly, if I was to do this, would there be any repercussions? Assuming they're on a stable server that will allow me to host them there, it won't have any negative impact on the viewer, right?
