How to add extra fields to registration and display them?

Hi. I want to add some extra fields to registration form and have it displayed right under the corner where's user information such as joind date ,age etc(see the screenshot) .so far i have added extra fields but don't know how to have them displayed and what should be the right permissions when adding extra fields which later could be changed in profiles. Thank you
