Default Profile Picture

Men I'm really frustrated. There are several hacks and modification for a "No-Avatar-Case"
But whats about a "No-Profile-Picture-Case" ? NOTHING.

Maybe someone out there could lend me a helping hand?
The thing is I want to show a default profile picture if there`s no one uploaded from the User.
Below there is the code.

HTML Code:

        <img src="$userinfo[profilepicurl]" $userinfo[profilepicsize] alt="<phrase 1="$userinfo[username]">$vbphrase[xs_picture]</phrase>" border="0"/>

Sadly it seems to be no condition like for Avatars. Anyone out there who please please with a sugar on top can help me out with this?

How can I do the one for avatars, Ive been looking and looking!
