Hello elenh -

first, by looking at your paid request, I can say this:

1 - Try to describe at least a little the work you need. It might seem stupid, but some developers will not bother contacting you if you do not specify the type of work you need.
2 - Few developers will accept to work without at least a small advance payment. There are a few out there, but you obviously need to be a bit more patient if this is your requirement.

Let me add that July-August might be a slow time of the year for hiring people. So, have a little patience ;)

Also, remember the links I sent you as suggestions. My friend is unavailable to take the job on, I apologize for not getting back to you however I was just slammed before you pm'd me the other night w/ the info so I have to keep good on my word before I accept any new jobs.

There are sites for completely custom work, simply google them but keep your thread open as you might get a reply soon... Carlito has some good points in the post above.

Looking at the request linked above, CarlitoBrigante is right, most people will skip it for two reasons.

1. You give no clue as to what is required.

2. You wont pay any deposit.

If you can't find someone to respond to your requests, chances are your request itself isn't drawing enough attention.

Personally, if the request says $50-$99 or less I won't even open it unless I see that the member and their website are serious enough to where it may be a good relationship for ongoing work here and there.

I've only seen one request from you:

Aside from the fact that you're only paying $150, i still have absolutely no idea what you said or what you need, which is probably why others didn't respond as well.

I've told people time and again, be as descriptive as possible. With as much detail and clarity as possible, it leaves little room for error and interpretation.
