Error When uploading a big file
helloo
im getting this error when some members try to upload big file like 4 to 5 MB thats the error Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 25165824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4316715 bytes) in /customers/pakistanipoint.com/pakistanipoint.com/httpd.www/includes/class_core.php on line 748 Please help me with this Thanks... |
That error indicates that your php doesn't have enough memory allocated to complete the operation. You should increase your memory_limit setting in php.ini. (If you don't have access to change it, you should ask your host to change it.)
|
where can i find the php.ini???
|
It is not a vbulletin file. You can find the path listed in admin cp > maintenance > php info > php.ini file path. I would not recommend modifying the file yourself unless you are comfortable playing with server files.

hmm okay
so who can help me with this???then?? |
Your host?
|
If you don't have access to the server, or to restart apache, then you will have to get your host to do this.
|
okay what do i have to say to them....??can you please tell me...thanks
|
You can send them a copy of the error message and tell them you would like the allowed memory size increased.
