rate post like yahoo answers?
 

I'm looking for a rate thread module like yahoo answers' rate feature. Something that sticks out a lot so people are more inclined to rate. Anything like this available?

You mean something like the rating "box" above all modifications and articles?

No I need to be able to rate each post not the thread. I want users to be able to ask questions and have the responses rated with a thumbs up or thumbs down.

I haven't seen a modification for this available, but you could somehow utilise the reputations feature (tweaked of course) to do what you want.

but to get all the features you will probably have to get the paid version fro their site.

I have the paid newsletter and it is pretty good.

I don't think that's what they're after and if it was, it doesn't fill the need of rating each post individually.
