restrict use of a bbcode in signatures
 

hello:

how can i restrict use of a bbcode in signatures? we have a code that displays images and we dont want members to be using that code to display pictures in their sigs.

Just restrict users from using images in signatures? This can be defined in Usergroups.

i did that already. the problem is that i have a custom code, say [ media ] which displays images from a local library. ppl are using that code in signatures. if i restrict all bbcodes then others cannot make bold or color bb codes. i just need to restrict a this particular bbcode in signatures.

There is a modification that allows you to select permissions for certain BBCodes.
I know this doesn't directly answer your signature question, but it's a start.
