Enabling the display of "Currently Active Users"

My co-worker, long ago has disabled the display of Currently Active Users (users online in forumhome, no online.php) for unregistered users. I would now like to rehabilitate me, but do not know where we can do and my co-worker do not remember. How can rehabilitation?
