Auto-generated affiliate links via ProfitBite
 

Example:

Lets say someone posts a link to Play.com on your forum, recommending a new product. This script will rewrite it so if any one who clicks that link and goes on to purchase something from play.com you will be entitled to some commission.

Development of this product is ongoing and future versions will introduce new features such as:

• Server-side rewriting of links
• Redirects via your own domain
• API integration
• Full control of your ProfitBite control panel from within vBulletin (once the API is released)

It's a great concept, but seems to have a quirky effect on my posted links.
I use a combination of AME and Link Icon in Posts for nicely formatted links.

If I could figure out a way of stopping it doing that, this would be installed like a flash on my forums..

If you pm/point me to a post on your forums where you have a external link I'll have a look and see if anything can be done about it.

Disabling AME make no difference. I don't think there's any conflict with it actually, must be something else that's putting titles to the links automatically..

Oh, but there is a conflict with vBSEO in private forums.

External URLs get altered for privacy purposes..
