template on new threads
 

I did a quick search for this but did not return what I'm looking for. If there is a thread about this, please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

In any case, I have a "for sale" section for my users. I want to have a certain template appear when creating a new thread in that section. Such as:

Name: ___
Item: ___
Price: ___
Description: ___

Etc...

Ideas?

You could create a form that they have to fill out to submit a "classifieds" ad and when submitted, it creates a thread using that form

Oh. I didn't think of that. I don't think that's built into vB, right? I thought I remember seeing a mod that sets up forms.

If you need any additional help, let me know. I might even make one just for this since I've seen a request for this a few times already

There is also a Stencil Mod which basically puts in some predefined text into the post and the user can then add in information.
