Unable to add templates for my new product
 

Hi, for some reason I can't add templates to my product. I goto my style, add template, select my product from the dropdown menu and put in a unique name of the template but it just goes under "custom templates" and the product is set to vBulletin when I save it.
The main problem is that it doesn't export with my product.

Do I need to add a template group or something first? It feels like I'm being really thick but I'm doing the obvious thing.

You need to turn on debugging mode (in the config.php) and add your new templates to the master style.

How do I make it into a its own group on the template list? Such as the Navbar/bread crumb group and the FORUMHOME group etc?

There is an article in the articles forums telling you how to create your own template group. You can probably search on "template*" in "articles" "titles only".
