should i make the purchase now or wait for vb4?

if i do make the purchase now....will the upgrade path to vb4 be easy?

It will be as easy as upgrading any other version, which is considerably easy, however you should make sure that your hacks are compatible before upgrading.

Apparently there might be a price raise for vBulletin 4, so I'd say buy now, and you'll either get the upgrade free or cheaper.
