Is anyone able to develop a simple post thanks hack for 3.8 ? :)

Did you have a look at Abe1's post thanks mod for 3.8.x?

I did, thanks. It doesn't work in 3.8.

Maybe a conflict with another mod, or another issue perhaps? I use it on one of my 3.8.3 boards and it works very well and I know many others use it for 3.8. Maybe try hitting up Abe1 within the post thanks mod thread and see if you can't get your issue sorted?

I do keep posting there but it looks as though it's unsupported now...

Developers don't all check the site every day of the week. You need to give them more than just a couple of days to respond. Also, you didn't post the actual database error in the modification thread which means it's going to be hard for the developer to help you out. Simply saying "I get an error" doesn't tell him a thing without knowing what the exact error is.
