New VPS Help?

Hey,

Just got a vps, because my site has started to out grow Shared Hosting. I got a fully managed pack + cPanel/WHM.

So I've got everything ready, but I just need some help.

The email my host sent with the details, they tell me how to login to WHM, cPanel and also they provide me with 2 nameservers. ns1.hostname.com + ns2.hostname.com

So I go to whm, fill in the Basic Config things, then Add a package. Add account, make it reseller...

First problem - I've got the account, can view files over the IP url, but i've set the nameservers in GoDaddy's manager a while ago, but when i go to add an Addon Domain, its saying:
Quote:

Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: *ip1*, *ip2* Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.
And wont add.

EDIT: //Do i need to set my own nameservers? If so. How? the host email said you can use them, if you want, or use your own.

Next - When I set up the account, It automatically gave it an IP, its not the main IP address, just want to know what to do with it, if anything?

I'm using a test domain that I don't have a site for. I just don't want to move my forum, until I'm sure it'll all work right.

Or, anybody know a tutorial or something for setting this all up. I'm a complete newbie.

Thanks :)

Most of these questions can best be answered by your host or your domain registrar.

Thought so, was going to ask here first though, as my host is in the states they don't normally reply till later in the day. But i'll ask now.
