Prevent posts in X forum without having X field in profile filled in?
 
Anyone come across a product/plugin that would prevent users from posting in a specific forum without first filling in a specific profile field? I remember an old hack for v2.x that forced everyone to update their profile fields when a new required field was introduced before they could post again... I believe that's now included in the newer versions of vb.

I think in the profile fields you can specify which are required at registration or "always". It looks as if that forces people to update their profile immediately before they can use the forums again.
