Forum and bitfields doubt
 

Hello all. Sorry if this question have already been asked before, but I just didn't find it..

So, I'm new to vbulletin hacks and I'm working on a mod that will need to add an extra settings to forums. Basically I wan't to add a new radio button in the "Enable / Disable Features" sections, on edit forum page. I added a plugin to hook at "forumadmin_edit_form" and added my new checkbox. Now, how to save this?? Forum has a "options" field that holds forumoptions bitfield. Is it possible to add a new field to this bitfield, or do I need to create a new column and add my own bits there?? I think that would bee cleaner if I was able to use this options bitfield, but Im not sure... What's the best way to go??
