Polls for modifications
 

Having just learned that modification-related polls are frowned upon in the lounge (I know, my bad it's in the rules, sorry to everyone :o), I sorely miss to ask the users who use my modifications how exactly they use it and what features are important to them.

I can see lots of scenarios where a poll would be useful for coders when deciding what they should concentrate on. Therefore I would really like to see either the possibility to have a poll with my modification thread (which should not be too hard, since polling really is core functionality), or some sort of a "modification polling subforum", where new threads for such polls could be opened.

I see that advertising for mods is something that should be prevented and that such polling threads might serve this purpose. But such a seperate polling forum would not do much harm in this way, I believe, and would not be hard to set up.

Perhaps this could be considered - if not immediately, perhaps for the (probable?) redesign after vB4 is out.
