Do You Plan On Installing the vb 4.0 Beta

When the first beta of vb 4.0 is released do you guys plan on installing it or holding out?

As far as I know they aren't releasing a beta to the general public.

Correct. You need to apply for beta testing. There is an announcement regarding this over on vb.com

Yeah i wont, 3,8,3 is probably the best they will/can make. They will improve it but no point 3.8.3 has everything we need.

I will install it on my test area first and see how it affect my mods.

When you say on your test area, could you explain?

Do you have more than one license to do this ? Thanks

Each and every license of vBulletin sold allows for a public live site and a private test installation. In fact it is recommended that all testing of new versions and modifications be done on a test site before you go live so that your data integrity can be ensured.

You don't need a second license to install a test server.
