Security Vulnerability? Cheaters? WTF?
I have had this installed on my forum for a while and 2 people have managed to get high scores on every game!
The highscores being like 7,000,000 where the average highscore for the game being 7,000 the guy even said he cheated to another member via the PM System that I read today... Any idea how they are doing this? And could this also be a security vulnerability? I am using the latest version of ibproarcade so I don't understand why nobody else is having this problem, or has reported it yet? |
Yes, cheating is possible using some browserplugins ect
ibProArcade has some funcitons inside to try to catch those attempts and block them, but some guys are still spoiling the fun by cheating. I suggest simply banning them from the arcade... This is no security vulnerability, so no worry about this. They are just changing scorevalues in the data between game and arcade |
