disable inline images
Hello. From time-to-time I get hit by spammers that find a way to add an inline image (ie img src=) in a post. Html is disabled in posts.
I have basically disabled all BB code & HTML code. Why is this still possible? Is there an obscure setting combo I need to set? Im Running 3.8.2 Vb If I were to put a filter for the "img src" as a banned word, would that break that function? Cheers DigitalRAT |
You should disable IMG BB tag aswell. Other than that, there is no way someone can put an image on your forum (they could use the attachment upload and show the attached image with the ATTACH bbtag too).
