Trying to Locate Welcome Graphic in Admin Cp

vB Version 3.8.2

I have been trying to locate and change the welcome graphic on the
home page of my site. The only place where I have been able to locate
one is:

vBa CMPS -- Edit Modules --Welcome Block -- WelcomeBlock.php

If I chance my new graphic to the same name and upload it to my
server, will it replace the current Welcome graphic?

I'm not referring to the welcome text message built into the forum.
It's the graphic right under the header on the left side.
http://www.4datetalk.com

Thanks

Yes

Well, your path to the image is "4datetalk.com/chase/4DATE2.gif" and I'm guessing that is was either placed in the header or navbar template.

I see a graphic under the header, quasi-centered... is this the one you mean? The one with the text and the clipart on an orange sunburst?

I cheat.... I right-click the graphic I want to replace, then select Properties. IE (and I expect Firefox too) tells me the location of that graphic, its name, its dimensions, etc.

And yes, if you upload a new graphic to the same filename + file location as the old one, it will replace the old one. You might have to press Control and F5 to see the difference, depending on your browser settings.

Thanks James and Redline!,
I'm on a Mac and I can't right click so it's a little hard to see the properties. But, it is the graphic with the Orange sunburst James. So, I ned to determine how to check properties on a Mac Mouse.
I think Redline could be right except I know it isn't in the header because that's where the header graphic is. I'll keep checking to see if there is a way I can determine the properties like you did. Thanks for the help!

Well, again, its either in the header or navbar template.

The graphic is at this location:
Code:

http://www.4datetalk.com/chase/4DATE2.gif
Filesize: 470 x 344

If it's not in your Navbar template, check the ad_header_end template.

Completely forgot about those templates lol

Thank you... both of you!!! That definitely is the graphic! Now I can find it. I didn't think about ad_header_end either. I think that's it. I'm going to check it now.

I found it! ... I'm really happy about that. Thank you guys!!! That's taken about 1/2 day to accomplish...LOL!

Now, I realize I need to code the entire graphic (head lies down on the computer):eek:! I think the new graphic looks better with the new header:). At least I hope it does!

Is there a way to move the graphic closer to the left side of the boarder? Everything was coded, so I had to change the code in order to change the graphic. The original boarder was "0" so the code read:
< ing
src=http://www.4datetalk.com/chase/welcome2.png "width = "480" height="350"border="0"
usermap="#Map#>
<map name="map">
