Problem when posting

I have a problem that start after a change my style, I THINK.

My minimun character limit its 10, so you have to post more than 10 characters in order to post. But when you post, no matter how many character do you write, always more than ten character, you recibe the error that you have to write more than ten words, but you are doing it..

I read in the internet, and i chek allthe file version in diagnostic and i dont have any error tehre.. i read that you have to REVERT your style.. like headinclude.. but i dont have any of it to do it.

Try this:
Create a new style with no parent:
  • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
  • Parent Style: No Parent Style
  • Title: Default vBulletin
  • Allow User Selection: Yes
  • Save
Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

If it is still happening - Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

PHP Code:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);

Is the template, because if a do a new one it work okeiui.. any clue in order to fix it??

I would check all the templates used on the page you are having problems on. You can find the templates by either going into debug mode and you'll see a list on the bottom of the page, or do this and you'll see the names of the templates in the page source - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes

Sorry but i dont understand how to find the errors, i enable the option but now what i have to doo+

I don't really know how to explain it. You basically have to look at your modified templates (they should be in red in the template list) and compare them to the default Jelsoft template and see what the differences are and then make the change to your own templates. That's about as general as I can be.

Okei, its sounds like a hard work, but it must be done... thanks lynn again!
