Quick reply
Is a quick reply supposed to bring up the redirect box that says ''Thank you for posting, you will now be redirected. If you selected a poll, you can now edit it''.
Its coming up on every quick reply and I dont think it used to --------------- Added [DATE]1245360061[/DATE] at [TIME]1245360061[/TIME] --------------- Also getting this error Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 19456 bytes) in /home/daithi2/public_html/forum/includes/class_mail.php on line 943 |
I can't remember if it does specifically for quick reply (I've had the redirection screen turned off altogether for quite a while). But, normally that does display after making a post or searching etc. You can turn it off or on in your Admincp.
Admincp > vBulletin Options > Cookies and HTTP Header Options > Remove Redirection Message Pages Not sure about your memory problem, though. |
Regarding the out of memory error - that means that your php doesn't have enough memory allocated to complete the operation. You should increase your memory_limit setting in php.ini. You may have to ask your host to do it.

Thanks so much to both of you

If you are getting redirect pages, then my guess is that ajax is off or you are getting ajax errors and don't know it. You may want to check your error_logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host).
