Quick stats and import question

Guys,
Thanks in advance for any help offered. I am getting used to Vbulletin and importing data from another custom built board. I have an issue where all the users show 0 posts and am wondering if using Rebuild Statistics will fix this.

admincp --> maintenance --> update counters -- rebuild forum info
