All I want to do, is show the online status of a user in the postbit.

As well as the gender of the member next to the online status.

Just like the example in the image I Posted.

The "online status" is built-into the default postbits. You can use code from those default templates to add that to your custom postbit.

The code you want to look for in the postbit for the online/offline status is this:
$post[onlinestatus]

It calls the template "postbit_onlinestatus". So, move that code in the postbit to where you want it and modify the template however you want (to show you own images if they have different names).

You need to post in the modification thread for help with the gender mod.

How cna I enable it to show?

If it's already in the postbit, is there a way I can enable and disable it?

To show your status? You don't see a little green/red/gray dot next to your username (if you are using the postbit template) or at the bottom left (if using the postbit_legacy)?
