Limiting Signature Image Size
 

I'm having trouble locating the option to limit the size of the images in signatures. We are having a problem with some users who have the appropriate number of images in their signatures, but those images are enormous! I see in my admincp where I can limit the size of images in the picture uploading & user albums....but not for signatures. Is there anyone that knows how to accomplish this? I'm running 3.7.2

It's a per-usergroup setting. AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit

You didn't have to type them all out; I know what the options are. :p

Picture Uploading Permissions:

Signature Image Maximum Width (pixels)
Signature Image Maximum Height (pixels)
Signature Image Maximum Filesize (bytes)

Those restrictions only apply to images that are uploaded; not those that are inserted with the IMG code.

If you are keen on limiting sizes, then do what I did and disallow IMG tags in signature images and force users to upload them. This way, your size restrictions cannot be bypassed. ;)

lol....i posted them because i'm not sure about the version you may be using lol. Is there another way they that?? I have tons of users using IMG tags currently.
