Social Group Leaders

Hi Guys,

I'm just wondering if there is a way (or a mod) where when a user creates a social group, they are placed into a user group? Basically for my new project I'm focusing heavily on the Social Aspects, and I would like all group leaders to be able to view a special "Group Leaders" forum.

Any help/direction is appreciated :)

Cheers,
LTC

I have never seen anything like this.

Thats a realy nice add-on idea!

Yeah, if it could happen it would be great.

Basically my new forum will be an offtopic forum (yeah yeah there's thousands out there) but you only see forums that you have an Interest in. That's where social groups come in. If there is a social group that you are interested in, you join it and then you can see the forum for that topic on the forumhome. Or if there isn't one for your particular interest, you start one.

Social Group leaders automatically become a moderator of their forum, so I just wanted to see if there was a way to add them to a group so they could see this Group Leaders forum.

Yeah, this definitely would be a neat add-on! ;)

to be honest, I'm sure a developer would hop right on this if you changed to the payments.

I'm sure they would but in the recession I prefer to pay for food than mods :)
