Ignore List Emails (Help me find out how to do this without bothering Steve M)

I'm tempted to email Steve Machol since he is so great at vbulletin, but I thought will try here first and spare him...

Somehow long ago as admin of my forums I set it up to notify me by email of all posts so I can handle any questions that come up to me or any problems that arise from a bad post. I don't remember how, I think it was an option in the admin settings.

However there is now a person I want to ignore all their posts so I added them to my ignore list. Yet I still get these notify emails for that person due to whatever method I used above.

So I'm wondering how do I get an email for all posts other than a single person or persons on my ignore list? Or do I need to get notified of all posts some other way to make the ignore list work this way or do I ignore this person some other way.

Thanks!:)

Notifications are here:
Go to your admincp => Forums & Moderators => Forum Manager => Edit Forum

Email Addresses to Notify When there is a New Post
or
Email Addresses to Notify When there is a New Thread

Usually its all or nothing (other than subscription to thread or adding a modification to it).

thanks davidw. so you know of no way to get notifications and putting a filter to stop hearing about one person, with or without the ignore list?

Using the forums method (as described) without a third-party plugin, no. This method works as designed. You would need an alternate method or addon inclusive of the above to make it do what you are wanting. It might be possible that there could be something available, but I am unsure of this.
