Place CODE Tags Automatically around all links in threads

I was wondering if anyone would be willing do create a mod that will put CODE tags around any link a user forgets to instead of creating a hyperlink automatically. I have looked at the following thread but users are saying it does not work with 3.8.2 and I would like it to.
