Search function doesn't work
Is there a reason why my search function wouldn't be working? I've created a test post titled "Test" and tried searching for 'test' using vBulletin's search function and I keep getting "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. "
Is there something I need to change in the control panel? |
Try a more complex search (6-8 characters or something) as small commonly used words sometimes get ommited from search results, its like searching a 1 million thread forum for the letter "a" would be millions of results.

In the Forum Manager for the forum you created the test thread in, do you have Index New Posts in Search Engine set to Yes or No?
|
@Scotteh Yes that worked. I wonder why it wouldn't work for 'test'? I thought any word above 4 characters was fair game?
@Lynne It's set to 'yes'. |
