We are looking for a professional, experienced, and honest review of our web site. Help us take the 10 second test. Is the site easy to identify? How did you like the navagation options? Does the style fit the site? Any suggestions are very much appreciated. Please we are looking for constructive crtizisim to improve our website.

My 10 seconds were all used up waiting for the page to load. :D

OK, I can tell right off the bat what the site is about. Navigation seems fine. I hate marquees. I also don't like vbadvanced much, but that's me. You should get some different Forum Status Icons or at least color them instead of using the default blue ones. It doesn't really go with the style. Actually, I'd replace any prominent default vb images, if possible. You use a nice complimentary orange in the postbit, perhaps use that color for some of the images to contrast with your green.

I didn't mean that to all sound negative. I was just mentioning the things I would change. It's obvious you have put some time and effort into the site.

For starters I think you shouldn't re-colour the forum status icons but go for something custom, some relevant to your forum style/niche. Also, Id think about remov (10 seconds are up).

hmm, More custom images. I note that the statusicons are all locks to guests, I suggest, that making a leaf with a lock on it for the locked statusocons would be better, the blue just ruins the overall feel.

Skin looks nice, and I like the sidebar. I can tell what it is about straight away. Userbase looks pretty active, and from looking at topics I can see you have nice custom smileys, relevant.

You don't seem to use the vBAdvanced to the fullest.

What can be improved upon:

• Replace the default vB lock icons with your custom one with a lock over the top. (Might wanna see famfamfam.com or somewhere like that for a tiny lock image)
• More green, less blue...
• Use your CMPS to its fullest extent, I see these ads all across the top, this is taking up valuable "market"

What you're doing right:

• Nice custom smilies...
• Nice skin, fits with your sites subject matter, can see what its about straight away.
• Nice custom icons etc. Good work
• Nice subject matter itself, not too off topic..

Well, okay.. First things first: The name is a little misleading. "shops" indicates that it's an ecommerce type store, but it is actually a forum. I see you've got classifieds, but they aren't the main focus of the site from what I can tell.

The theme: Could be a lot better, but it could also be a lot worse. I think your colors are okay, but it is still pretty cluttered up with most, if not all of vB's default stuff. Like everyone, I think you could use some new icons that are specific to your site. You could do something that as the topic grows in discussion, the icon could be little cannabis plants that grow too. The more leaves, the more hot the topic is.. The "locked" icon could have something to do with the legal status.. handcuffs, jail bars, etc... I mean, you can really do a lot of personal touches like that, these are just simple examples that come off of my head..

I think you should at least kill the marquee. If you need to scroll through latest news items or whatever, I think you should look into a javascript carousel type thing on your main portal page or maybe even your forumhome. Also, maybe rework the 12 ads at the top somehow. You have a lot of adspace that you're already using up though, so I'm not quite sure what your options would be. I would just want all the content right there in your face when you visit, without having to scroll down some to read it all.

Overall, I think it's a good start. You seem to have yourself a good amount of people on board already, which is never a bad thing.

I am new at this coding stuff and we are doing the best we can with VB's and it's members help. I must give credit to vbpulseme and richierich who coded most of the work I requested.

They get a website snapshot, and you get your space at the top. Its nice and flashy too, I think it would be easily customisable (never done it but looks simple enough)
