Is there rules to posting a mod?

Can I post a mod without explaining what it does?

Please implement a site policy and mandatory template that is required when uploading a mod. The biggest problem I see is lack of adding a description at the top of the post telling people what the mod does, who it benefits, etc.

I'm ranting - sorry, but it's probably the biggest gripe I have when someone posts a mod that lacks a description and the title is just as vague.

Oh, come on. I've never seen anything vague on here.

I think that it is pretty rare to find a modification so poorly described that you cannot figure out what it does from its title/description/screenshots.

Plus, if a developer has not even put in the effort to clearly describe their modification, it is likely they didn't put all that much effort into development either. (So its probably best that you just ignore those modifications)

You need to remember that VBulletin.Org is a multi-national site and a lot of members do not use English as their first language, so some threads may be a bit plain dependant on that members knowledge of english.

I think in all honestly the major bulk of new modifications added generally do have adequate descriptions, I can't say i've seen any as yet that hasn't??
