This is a server issue. See this: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/t...mysql_goneaway and this: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...265#post310265

A few days back i was having problem editing Newthread, Newpost templates and i was redirected to the homepage from my Admincp.

Is this something related?

I don't know. What was the reason why that was happening? Did you have your host look into it?

Tell your host about the errors you are getting. Have then look at the error_logs and see what is going on.
