Mass Password reset
 

Hello,

My forum was recently hacked and the hackers got my vB database. They sent me a link with the table 'Users' where all the passwords, emails and users id are shown and most of the weak passwords were decrypted, the strong passwords couldn't be decrypted.

Now. I sent a mass PM to all my forum users telling them to change their passwords and yeah, almost everybody already changed their passwords but, there are some inactive users that haven't read the PM and I wouldn't want them to get hacked by this people.

What I'm asking for is for a modification that will let me reset all the passwords from the usergroups that I choose. The passwords can be randomly created like this site http://www.thebitmill.com/tools/password.html, and emailed to the email of the user account.

Please, I'm asking for this modification for the security of all my forum users. I hope a coder takes time to read my post and accept this request, I would appreciate it a lot, I could add your ads into my forum, link to you w/e, I just need this done as soon as possible so this people doesn't hacks my forum users emails.

If you dont have a large ammount of inactive users you could go to each one of there profiles and change there password. Then at the top in the drop down box (on there profile in admincp) click send password reminder

They're too many... around 300 - 400 users..

wow yeah a mod would be best for you then so it seems lol sorry i could not be of much help
