Delete albums and pics

Hi,

As we are growing, we have disabled albums and want to delete all the images uploaded over a period of time.
We want to delete images in months they were uploaded so say 9-12 months old images delete first and so on.
How can I easily do this?

yes can we delete all albums ? also in the database and ftp ?
