Vb Problem = Disaster!
I have a terrible problem with my vBulletin software.
Whenever anybody tries to upload a picture to a photo album on the site they get to a "HTTP 500 Error" page. This really sucks since people really want to use them. I contacted vB support and they checked out my site. They told me to contact my host about it. So I went to my host, they was messing around with my FTP, database and vB software for a week to get nothing out of it. Nobody can upload pictures still today. Worst thing is. I can't track if there's anything I did to make this happen. And it just came randomly. I install vBulletin on another directory on my site and it works, it even works if I copy my directory from my original forum. Does this mean it's database related? I want to fix this so if anybody could help me then please, do so. |
If you have access to it, look through your server's error log. Unfortunately the 500 error code can mean a lot of things, so it's nearly impossible to figure out what's going on without any further information. From what you're saying it almost sounds as if there's a permissions issue on some of the folders.
