Getting multiple registrations, fraud (in classifieds) need some tools to fight it!
 

Needs some tips folks please..

I am using the AE Detector mod

But I feel I need it customized to report multiple ID registrations in the same thread

I just get so many reports - its kind of useless to me as a warning system - I get too many every day to investigate - most seem OK.. ???

But once I do have a fraud alert it is useful to track down multiple ID's

I use Itrader (and that seems to have been abandoned by its coder, or at least shelved for a while)

Fraudsters cheat by giving their multiple ID's Itrader ratings - to look bona fide then rip people off.

Of course people should learn to be more careful....

But its a growing issue..

Any tips?

It would be good to crack down on multiple ID's but its really the classifieds section (no using any speicial mods for that - just a simple thread / post method..

Would using a classifieds software help me prevent this sort of multiple user abuse / fraud? If so which one? I am getting nervous that Itrader looks to be frozen developmentally.. Perhaps not good for the future...?
