a mod out there can can be installed that will restrict specific usergroup(s) from uploading pics/attachments and from using IMG code(s) for specific forums ?

example: usergroup 1 needs to be able to upload pics to 20 forums but want to prevent them from doing it on 2 of them.

I was gonna reply that that is only for Download permissions - but I just looked and they have Upload permissions in there too. Here I've been running 3.8 since January and I still don't know everything they added since 3.6!

I just got lucky

forum permissions will not prevent pictures from being posted using IMG
and I don't want to restrict the usergroup(s) form posting pics on other forums, just certain specific ones.....

You will have to find a mod to stop users from using the IMG tag. I can't recommend one since I don't use one.

Haven't used it, but reading the mod description, it seems to be what you need.

yep, have that already installed but, there does not appear to be options to block IMG code
I think I need to dig through that a bit more.
I also think they is option to prevent "looking" at attachments, but unsure if that also goes for IMG coded images

Well, looks like that mod is designed to do sort of what i would like, but unfortunately, it is based off of POST COUNT instead of USERGROUP

rats !!

You may be able to just modify a couple of the plugins (and maybe an option?) to have it based on usergroup instead of postcount.

I have no clue how to do that sort of thing....
