Is there a mod that will replace email addresses in posts?
 

I hate it when my users post email addresses in their msgs. Spam bots get them effectively rendering that address useless, as it will soon be flooded permanently with spam once the spam bots add them to spam lists.

Is there a hack/mod that will replace email addresses in public posts with something else? (a string saying "no email posting allowed" or whatever..)

I did a search but couldn't find anything.

Or, perhaps a more complicated solution, but one that would use vBulletin's internal e-mail system for composing to posted addresses.

Just a thought.

search "address*" in "all mods" "titles only" and you will find something to use.
