Email Error?

I received four emails just now but the email it lists as the error is what confuses me? Is it spam or is my database messed up? Each email was sent with a different user name attached to it as I highlighted below....

MySQL Server has gone away:

This is a server issue. See this: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/t...mysql_goneaway and this: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...265#post310265

I went through and repaired my database and than I optimized it. I hope this may help, because that's what they would have done anyways.

Thank you for the response.

ALi
