How do I add a space to the bottom of my navbar?

I would like to add a space of about 10px to the bottom of my navbar template, with the same background color of my customized style which is in the attachment. Is there a way to do this? Thanks if you can help.

P.S., my navbar template is vbulletin 3.6.8

Just add <br /> to the bottom of the template...
