I could add an extra compulsary field such as:

Thread Title: |______________________|

Thread Description: |________________|

Posting options & Smileys etc

Or something along those lines.

Or to take it further, Add a drop down option menu. If anyone could help it'd be much appreciated.</div>

Do a search on "field*" in "all mods" "titles only" and you should find a mod to add extra fields to your New Thread page.

Hmm thanks, but the main ones i seem to find seem to be thread description hacks etc... would you happen to know how to edit the "thread description" field to say something else?

Bump...

Kinda hoping someone might now how?
I'm figuring there's a way by editing templates, but i only want it in certain boards...
Any help would be really appreciated.

I think I'm not fully understanding what you want. Do you have an image? You say you want to edit the Thread Description field to say something else, but I have no idea what that is.

Here's the posting form i'm trying to replicate, it's from my old proboard.
It's basically what i'm going for.

Did you try the search I said to do? Cuz the second thing that comes up, seems to me, to be what you want. I suggest you try the search again and take a look at some of the results.
