How i can remove [ ] in posting ( Solved BY Lynne )

Hello every one need help How i can remove color , bold , font size tag [ ] in posting [ b] [/color] [font size ] in 3.8.2

I can't see these tag if i use my admin account but thses tag showed up when user slect color, bold, size style in posting please help me to remove thanks

You want to disable it completely? Then don't have then for the Editor Formatting, select Disable Controls.

THanks Lynne for reply i dont want to disable it completely i just want to remove that tags [b][font size ] [color] i just want these all function working without these tag like if i type hello and i want to bold it so its shuld look like this hello i dont like this [b]hello[b] hope you undersatnd what i need

If tags are showing up in posts, they're being input wrong. The BBCode tags are what apply the attributes to your text.

Each tag has a begging and end tag. For example, if you apply bold your tag will look similar to this:

[ b ]your text here [ /b ] (without the spaces, of course).

yes i know that [ b ] [ / b ] these tags not showed up after submitting post these are only showed up when we write the post or we edit the post i just want to remove from there have look at attachments in first pic there is no tag and in 2nd pic tag are showed up i just want to do like 1st pic both pics are editing the post 1st one for admin and 2nd one for user

If you want to post in bold and not have it show up as [ b]bold[ /b] in the editor, then you need to enable the WYSIWYG editor in your User CP or push the little button EnIgMa1234 posted about.

how to enable the WYSIWYG editor in User CP i did enable in admin cp Message Posting Interface Options as i showed up in my very first posting in attchment in admin cp pic

i try with EnIgMa1234 and tags gone but the words came back in same shape as we write they are not gettin bold or colors
